Synopsis
Are you already familiar with the basics of condominium Directorship? Do you want to gain a more advanced understanding? For the first time ever, CCI Eastern Ontario is offering an advanced Director's Course(1) in two parts. Join us on Saturday, November 23rd for Part 1 and Sunday, November 24th for Part 2.
Today Directors will have completed the CAO's Online Director Training at a minimum. However, the knowledge, expertise, and judgement that all need to be excercised by Directors are very demanding and complex. CCI-EO's Director's Course: Beyond the Basics is the next step in Director Training.
Advanced course material not covered by the CAO's Online Director Training
Yes - the CAO's Online Director Training is mandatory and is a good start. It is an overview of key issues of which Directors need to be aware in a self-study online setting. However, the issues touched upon are complex and benefit from analysis in much greater depth, with the opportunity of class discussion and review. CCI-EO's training offers the analysis and opportunity for deeper understanding and it is provided by leading experts in the condominium field in Ontario.
Fulsome and continuous training remains key. This is CCI Eastern Ontario's strength.
We provide the depth!
We unravel the complexity!
We support Directors to enable them to exercise their fiduciary and management responsibilities to the best of their ability.
We encourage all Directors to register for the Director's Course - reinforce your knowledge and gain confidence in your ability to manage!(1)
