This session will explore everything from the contract wording, performance management, training, checklists of daily must dos and provide the perspective of an experienced superintendent.

Anne Burgoon
Anne joined EOPMG on a full-time basis in 2010, after a lengthy career in the medical field. Anne’s strengths lie in the development and adherence to processes and procedures. She also attends to the important details of the development of corporate policies, maintenance schedules, adherence to the Condominium Act, and communication. Anne oversees the hiring, training, and supervision of staff and is a recipient of the Registered Condominium Management (RCM) designation. Anne is a strong CCI supporter and volunteer. She is a frequent speaker at CCI-EO sessions and active member of the CCI-EO Board of Directors and Management Advisory Council.
Patricia Elia
As a condominium and corporate lawyer, Patricia’s practice of 28 years encompasses all aspects of corporate work for condominiums including policy creation, rules drafting, contract review and negotiation, condominium lending, shared facilities agreement rewrites, Tarion claims, construction deficiency claims, termination of agreements under the Act, addressing first year operational issues, breaches of contract by suppliers, termination of employees and suppliers, declaration amendments, communication strategies, chairing of meetings and litigation support. Patricia supports her condominium clients in all aspects of their condominium communities by finding solutions within the statutory framework of the Condominium Act, 1998 and other applicable legislation to manage the risks condominiums face today. From Tarion to compliance to privacy to safer banking methods, the EA team is dedicated to achieving comprehensive and cost- effective solutions that work for all of Elia Associates’ clients. Our corporate clients rely on Patricia to support their financing, acquisition and structuring needs and to develop their policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws. She understands what it is like to be a director of Condominium Corporation because she has been one for approximately 20 years for both a multi-storey and townhouse complexes. Patricia adds value via her experience and works with her board members to effect smooth and cost-effective operations. Patricia is and continues to be an active speaker, writer and participant in the condominium industry. Currently, she is working on a variety of industry related programs and committees with a view to facilitating awareness and knowledge for unit owners, directors, property managers and condominium communities as a whole.
