Nancy Houle

Nancy Houle is a founding partner at Davidson Houle Allen LLP. She has practiced exclusively in the area of condominium and joint-property ownership law since being called to the Bar in 2002. Her practice includes general corporate advice to condominium corporations, financing and secured transactions, building deficiency litigation, and proceedings involving disputes between condominium corporations and residents. Nancy has published articles in CondoContact, Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO), CondoBusiness Magazine as well as other online publications. She is also a frequent guest lecturer at Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) Seminars, including the Annual Directors Course and joint ACMO/CCI Conferences, both provincially and nationally. Nancy has also been a guest on various local, and nationally syndicated, radio and television shows including Ottawa Morning on CBC Radio and CBC Television. Nancy has also participated extensively in the process for revision of the Condominium Act, 1998, through her role as President of CCI Eastern Ontario, former co-chair of the Constitution Committee for CCI National, and on the legislative review committee for ACMO/CCI. She has also been invited by the Ontario Ministry to participate in discussions on the proposed revisions and regulations before and after public release and consultation. The participate will also continue as the current CCI-National Chair of Government Relations. Nancy enjoys connecting with people, and finding ways to make a genuine difference to the lives of individuals, groups, and communities. One of her key strengths is being able to run smooth and effective meetings, leading the way to a practical resolution. Part of this is due to her sense of humour and ability to lighten the mood, even when a tough message needs to be delivered.

Graeme McPherson

Graeme has been all-in on condo law since day one. He brings serious governance and litigation experience to Stack, paired with a calm, clear communication style and a sense of humour that makes even tough conversations easier. He works hands-on with boards, owners, and property managers, helping them cut through problems and get to practical answers fast. Whether he’s chairing a meeting, sorting out governing documents, or stepping in as an advocate, Graeme keeps things simple, focused, and forward-moving. He’s appeared before all levels of Ontario courts as well as the Condo Authority Tribunal, Landlord and Tenant Board, and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, representing both owners and corporations with the same steady, solutions-first approach. Graeme believes good information makes condo living better for everyone. He writes, teaches, and serves on the Board of Directors of CCI-Eastern Ontario—all part of his mission to make condo knowledge accessible, not intimidating.

Jonathan Wright

Jonathan practises in all areas of post-development condominium law, with a particular interest and expertise in commercial and construction litigation in the context of a condominium. Jonathan considers himself to be incredibly intelligent, hardworking and diligent, and one day hopes to convince his colleagues that he is all of these things. Jonathan left the shores of Northern Ireland in 2009 with a law degree in one hand and a pot of gold and his lucky charms in the other. Exuding all the charms and wit of an Irishman, Jonathan takes a pragmatic long term approach to litigation and works hard at building long term relationships formulated on trust and respect with his clients. Coming from Northern Ireland, Jonathan has a deep love for the beautiful game (and also his wife and daughter) and following the mantra of ‘those that can’t do, teach’ Jonathan, having hung up his soccer boots, enjoys coaching youth soccer, although admittedly, he is living vicariously through the kids he coaches. In the winter months, Jonathan can be found questioning why he left the (ever so slightly) warmer climate of Northern Ireland and trying to avoid injury on various ski hills..
