Action Needed: Protect Proposed Condo Act Amendments

The Protecting Condominium Owners Act, 2015 proposed important amendments to the Condominium Act, 1998. While some amendments have already been implemented, others were at risk of expiring if not enacted before the end of 2025.Thanks to the advocacy of CCI-Toronto and members like you, these efforts have contributed to Bill 72, now in its second reading as of November 27, 2025.

Next Steps:
Some key amendments, including critical financial and reserve fund provisions, are still not yet preserved. We need your voice to ensure these changes are protected.

Take Action:
Contact your MPP today using the sample email below to urge the Ontario government to proclaim the remaining amendments or take steps to preserve them. Emails will also be copied to the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, c/o the Honourable Stephen Crawford.
